Tony
Zummack-CGTF, USGTF
The
ability to make complicated things simple requires good communication
skills and that is the most important quality he brings to this
organization. He is passionate and committed to help individuals
reach their athletic potential through skill analysis and skill
development, learning to enjoy the game and have as much fun as possible
while progressing in learning a real golf swing. In 2000 he
received Level 3 certification by both the Canadian and United States Golf
Teacher’s Federations In 2005 Tony relocated to Calgary, AB and in 2006
started instructing for Real Swing Golf. With a sound knowledge of
the golf swing and a teaching philosophy that matches ours, Tony is able
to communicate the virtues of Real Swing Golf to our students very
effectively. He is quite adept in both group and individual
instructional settings and works with golfers of all ages and abilities.
He is a full time teaching professional from May to August and looks
forward to helping all golfers realize their potential and learn the
benefits of Real Swing Golf.
Bob
Taverner-CGTF, USGTF
Bob is a
certified teacher with the Canadian Golf Teachers Federation and the
United States Golf Teachers Federation . He has 22 years of
experience in the golf industry and a wealth of teaching experience. This
is his third year with Real Swing Golf. Bob brings great people skills and has ability to put anyone at ease
with his calm and patient teaching methods and is extremely comfortable
with both novice and seasoned golfers.
Mike Lamb-CGTF, USGTF
Mike is a
certified teacher with the Canadian Golf Teachers Federation and the
United States Golf Teachers Federation . Mike began playing golf
early in life and soon became hooked on the game. His first efforts
at teaching golf were teaching children as an aid to the assistant pro.
With these initial experiences he learned that a majority of children did
things very naturally without too much instruction. Having taught
for many years, Mike became certified with the CGTF, USGTF in 2006.
Mike likes the new way of teaching golf which dispenses with a lot of
"clutter". "I think the Real Swing Golf Method is a
tremendous way of teaching a person to swing a golf
club".
Tim Crough- Master Teacher,
CGTF, USGTF
Tim’s students
range from beginners to young pros and a number of better amateurs in his
area. Tim has helped to initiate and organize tournaments for Calgary
Special Olympics that raise over $50,000 per year, every year, for their
programs. In 2008 he will be working with the City of Calgary golf
courses, providing lessons for kids who do not have the financial
capability to play the game. In 2005, he earned his Level IV CGTF Master
Teaching Certification at the first Level IV course held in Canada.
The main focus in his teaching revolves around the basics, the mental
game, and seasonal planning for the better player. In Tim’s words, “As
always, golf does not build character; it exposes it.”
